Hey all. We had a LAN at Waste's place two days ago, which was all right, but definitely not the best LAN so far. Sadly, that was probably our last LAN as a clan, since next year we are all dispersing across the globe. ArcAne had a lot of trouble with his system seeing as most of his .exe files were infected with virusses. Shame. Anyway, we also had a quick LAN a week or two back (in the September exams, hehe), which was fun. You can check out pics and info on both these LANs by going to our LAN section and clicking on Quickie-LAN or Final Fight.

I have updated the site a bit while listening to rave music (its constant beat keeps me going at a good pace). Nothing big, just a little here and a little there and some there and oh yeah... some here. lol. I added a few lines to my profile and changed its colour (just a personal touch). If you haven't discovered the secret of the pics in our profiles yet, I have added some instructions to them. If you ever wondered what we did all the time before our first LAN you can read the short history in the LANs section. The bogus timestamp at the end of all the pages has been removed. After a long time of no updates I visited our site and saw the thing was displaying the current date so I removed it! Last, but not least, some sad news regarding our members has been posted on the Profiles section. This will probably not be the last update of the site, but the next update could be after the sad news has taken place. The finals are at hand and thereafter Maxium, ArcAne and OrkHiSt are going on a weeklong holiday to Langebaan, prior to ArcAne's departure to England. My parents don't want me to go, so I will stay in Koffie. :-(

The site hasn't been updated for a while. Part of the reason why is because I couldn't get rid of the Blast worm (Damn, that guy did a good job!). This happened after I reinstalled my Win XP. Hopefully, the site will be updated tomorrow!

A few weeks ago we attended a LAN held by Hannibal and Yourefucked, which was a lot of fun. We decided not to create a page for that LAN because it wasn't one of our LANs. We played the usual games, plus a bit of Diablo II for a change. For a lot of players it was their first time playing DII, but in the end almost everyone was hooked and the game lasted well over a day. The latest news from our side is that ACiD and Waste have organized a network in Waste's garage and have now opened it to the public so they can make some moolah. This is mainly so we can get enough money to go on a matric vacation the last week of November. Sadly, Waste won't be allowed to join us.

Siro and I had a MiniLAN last night, seeing as it is a public holiday today. We played two very long AOE II games, both of which he licked me in, and a bit of Starsiege inbetween. This may be the shape of things to come: We've decided to host more MiniLANs in the future, but we'll probably still host big LANs in the holidays. We're planning on hosting a Tribes MiniLAN next and maybe an Alpha Centauri MiniLAN after that.

The 8-Man-LAN was great! Who thought you could have so much fun in the school dormitory? We took loads of pics there. Click here to see them and to read more about this LAN.

We had a Mini-LAN yesterday and today, which was attended by me, Waste, ACiD and ArcAne. KorpS also played, but he didn't have a PC of his own there. It was fun, but maybe not such a good idea, seeing that we have a big LAN planned for maybe the day after tomorrow. Don't want us to exhaust ourselves before the real thing. I took my camera, but we never got round to using it. Will definitely do so at the big LAN next week!

We have decided that our systems need a little boost. We are all in the proces of upgrading so you will see a few changes in our profiles. This is not a major upgrade, just a few video cards and some RAM (These things are NOT cheap!).

The ShockWave 2003 LAN was a great success, click here for more details on this event, or to see some pics taken there. Congratulations to Siro, who celebrated his 15th birthday on the 8th of January! We've added a news archive to the site, so now you can dig into the past if you'd like to.

The latest news is that we're planning a LAN for the beginning of January. We would have organized one sooner if it wasn't so hard to find a venue for it, as well as the fact that some clan members are going on holiday soon. Some sad news is that Victor Ribero has moved, so the future LANs aren't going to be the same without him. At least you can look forward to one thing though... New pics! Yes, after several photoless LANs OrkHiSt has commited himself to bringing along a video cam to the next LAN, come hell or high water (or his forgetfulness!). Oh, and here's a tidbit you might also be interested in: A friend of OrkHiSt's whom he hasn't seen for four years has tracked him down through... yup, you guessed it... this website! So you see, it does actually serve a purpose ;)
